Abstractions is a soothing escape. 

This calendar is a sanctuary you can go to in your mind’s eye and connect with yourself, connect with the heart of the universe. 

There is a Japanese phrase: 

Mono-no-Aware (MOH-no no ah-WA-reh) which literally means “the pathos of things”. Mono-no-aware says that beauty is subjective, and it’s our sensitivity to the world around us that makes it beautiful.
Abstractions, is an attempt in this direction. 

Plantables 2023 Calendar is made from waste cotton seed papaer, set to a reusable pine-wood stand. 

Before the start of each month, you can write down a prayer or a goal for the coming month, tear the paper and wet it, and plant it under a thin layer of soil. As the paper sprouts, nurture the goal or the prayer of the month with your love, water and light sunshine and watch it bloom.
