Soil -

Soils with neutral pH, rich in organic matter and well drained nature

Water -

Bamboo palm loves moisture but remember do not make the soil too soggy, water your bamboo palm before the soil dries up

Light and temperature -

5 to 6 hours of indirect to bright sunlight and temperature of 18 to 27oc.

Fertilizers -

Use any well balanced liquid fertilizers once in 3 months, or add bulky organic manures and slow releasing fertilizers while repotting. 

Humidity  -

50 to 60 percent humidity is ideal, misting your plants once in a while will keep them healthy and dust free

It is due to low intensity of light, keep your bamboo palm in a location, where it recieves at least 5 to 6 hrs of indirect light


My bamboo palm fronds are showing grey spots, how to control them? 

They are alternaria leaf spots, remove the affected portions and spray any fungicides at low concentrations


My bamboo palm is decaying, please help

It's because of over watering. Please remember to not make your soil soggy while watering
